What does Team Luke Hope for Minds do?
Our mission is to support children and their families after a brain injury through a comprehensive, compassionate approach. Guided by Executive Director Tim Siegel’s personal experience caring for his son, Luke, we understand the unique challenges families face.
From the moment a parent reaches out, we step in to help them navigate their new reality—explaining their child’s condition, exploring treatment options, and providing financial assistance for therapies not covered by insurance. We also connect families to additional resources, offer advocacy support for IEPs (individualized education programs) in schools, and provide support groups for the entire family.
Where does my donation go?
Your donation helps children with brain injuries and their families by covering the cost of essential therapies, medical equipment, counseling, and other services not typically covered by insurance. It also supports our educational programs, support groups, and advocacy efforts to improve quality of life and access to care. We’re committed to being responsible stewards of every dollar we receive and often partner with other organizations to maximize impact and reduce costs. For example, we collaborate with the TX Ramp Project to help families in need of wheelchair ramps.
Team Luke Hope for Minds is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and all donations are tax-deductible. You will receive a donation receipt for tax purposes.
How do I get involved?
